Work

I believe education is the bedrock upon which we construct a more promising tomorrow, empowering individuals and fostering global empathy. My academic foundation, a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Economics from Jadavpur University equips me to identify systemic gaps in underprivileged communities, while my passion as an artist and dancer drives my mission to bring joyful, creative learning to these spaces. As a Teach For India Fellow, my journey has spanned from building a tightly-knit culture of shared values among 92 students in Pune to fostering enthusiastic young leaders in my current Kolkata classroom. I prioritize creating safe, structured environments where learning feels alive and deeply rooted in real understanding. By integrating hands-on academic activities with vibrant cultural expressions from student-led science showcases to theatrical performances of Tagore’s  Tasher Desh, I strive to break down social barriers and ensure every child feels seen, supported, and capable of leading.

Art is a powerful tool I use to uplift and empower communities, helping them realize their full potential. Through artistic engagement, I’ve formed meaningful connections with children and gained valuable insights from their imaginative ideas and creations.
Because art has the unique ability to connect souls and strengthen communities, I dedicate my weekend mornings to sharing the joy of painting with children in my neighborhood. This creative exchange enriches both their lives and mine.
